The Insurance Association of the Caribbean (IAC) Inc. is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion and growth of the Caribbean Insurance Industry through RESEARCH, EDUCATION and ADVOCACY The Insurance Association of the Caribbean (IAC) was the “brainchild” of a small group of regional visionaries who recognized the need for the preparation of the indigenous insurance industry for the future challenges of the remaining century. The Association has more than 70 members operating in various types of insurance sectors regionally and internationally. The membership is mainly broken down into Life, Non-Life and Insurance Brokerage. We endeavour to harmonize regulatory and insurance laws while lobbying for the strengthening of Caribbean companies operating within the region. We also seek to develop and provide educational and training opportunities, gather and collate regional statistics and to promote regional reinsurance consultation. Additionally, the association provides a forum for the meeting of IAC members, Caribbean insurance regulatory authorities, insurance educational institutions and other special groups with interest in the Caribbean region.
