The Barbados Taekwon-Do Federation organises training in the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) style of Taekwon-do throughout Barbados by the establishment of training schools or classes in communities throughout the island of Barbados. We also provide qualified instructors sanctioned and authorised by the International Taekwon-Do Federation to operate these schools and classes. We plan and implement promotional events and activities aimed at increasing awareness of and interest in Taekwon-do, including but not limited to tournaments, training seminars, demonstrations and motivational lectures. Mission Statement To maximisethe potential of each student enrolled and training in every school and class established by the Federation, through the diligence, commitment and integrity of each school's and class' Instructor. To maximising each student's potential entailing instruction and training of the highest order, continuallyenhancing and improving the students physical and mental abilities and emphasising the tenets of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control and indomitable spirit within a disciplined training environment that nurtures personal development, cultivates harmonious inter-relationships between students and Instructors, and encourages social responsibility.
